Hamza's Sehra Bandi - 6.19.09 - Manassas, VA

The groom, Hamza (Rehana's future husband), had a mini ceremony in his home called the Sehra Bandi. This event is where a turban and veil (in this case: a veil of flowers) are placed on the groom. The flowers cover his face as he prepares to meet his bride.

Rehana was already at The Marriott Westfields getting ready while I was covering her fiance's event. Hamza's family was very hospitable and I had a great time experiencing something with so much culture.
