Kim Getting Ready (and Carlos too) - 8.15.09 - Frederick, MD

You are cordially invited to the wedding of Kim and Carlos who met at the club, coincidentally named, Love. It's what brought them to that four-letter-word feeling. Their marriage was held at Ceresville Mansion where they both were getting ready at on the day of the wedding. I arrived a couple of hours beforehand to take some getting ready photos of both Kim, Carlos and relatives.

Kim's family were also on hand helping any way they can. I caught her father getting himself ready and I even captured Kim applying some eyeliner on her mother who is known to be quite low-maintenance (but not today though...today is special).

The last two images of the kids in the bridal party are pretty much what makes kids, well, kids. I love the expression of Kim's naked cousin acting all nonchalant with all the busy-ness that was going on around her. The other image with the two boy cousins are so cute with such a funny expression on their faces.

Meanwhile, across the hall, Carlos was getting ready with his groomsmen. His brother helped him put his cuff links on and not to miss a photo opportunity, he incorporated all of his groomsmen to help him with his jacket. A very excited groom awaits his future bride.

Ashley Getting Ready - 8.9.09 - Big Indian, NY

Ashley & Don's wedding was held at Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, NY - right in the heart of the Catskill Mountains. The location was so lush with green that it was nature's gift to the world.

I managed to get there right on time after my 3 hour drive from New York City and started my photos right for the dress. I had to incorporate nature with the dress somehow and luckily I did a little tree climbing/reaching to get the super white dress in a good spot without ruining it. Whew! Mission accomplished!

Once inside the cottage, I waited a bit for Ashley and her girls to get semi ready before I went picture happy. Here are some photos of the inside of the cottage! The place was so cute and with the place being in the middle of the mountains it was quite perfect.


Just to get the jitters out of the way, the ladies toast to Ashley's big day!



The preparations soon get underway with the makeup touchups and dress fitting. Ashley looks so lovely on her day and everyone is also sharing their joy with her. The veil is a family heirloom of Don's mother. I really enjoy the last image with Ashley's mother and sister lovingly looking at Ashley. There is so much love in the room.



Since Don & Ashley did not have time to do the bridal shoot after the wedding, we had planned to do the shoot right before. These photos are the first time Don and Ashley has seen each other right before the wedding!

Note: Unfortunately, the bridal shoot got called off since the rain poured in. We shot a couple photos inside the cottage but FORTUNATELY we managed to get some bridal party shots outside after the cocktail hour...check those out in my future blog post!

Lisa's Bridal Shoot - 6.26.09 - Wilmington, DE

Lisa was such great bride! Her wedding day was on a Friday at the Cauffiel House and Barn. She got dressed at the Cauffiel House where her wedding dress fit the ambiance of the house to a T. The dress was custom tailored off of a 1930's wedding catalog.

Agi Getting Ready - 5.9.09 - Herndon, VA

Ok, so we're still on Agi's wedding. She had a lot of coverage and different stages so I want to be as thorough with these blog entries as possible. plus she had some great pics in her wedding so why not post her day?

Agi's Mini Photoshoot - 5.9.09 - Herndon, VA

A little caboose was stationed right outside the beauty salon. I took this opportunity to do a mini photoshoot with Agi, her veil and the help of a little wind. It was a fun shoot before the wedding day became too hectic.
