Rehana's Dholki - 6.5.07 - Fort Washington, MD

I met the bride, Rehana, in this Dholki event - the first of many events prior to the actual wedding. Pakistani weddings tend to have a number of events spanning a few days.

Dholki is actually the work for the two-sided drum used to keep the beat of songs being sung. Rehana and her friends were very hospitable and from the looks of the photos, they had a great time.
