Rehana & Hamza's Shaadi Reception - 6.19.09 - Chantilly, VA

The entrance of the bride and groom are very key to a reception. First the groom arrives with his family. He then sits at the head of the room and waits for his bride to enter. The bride enters with her family and joins her groom at the head of the stage as well.

A few ceremonial procedures are performed with and for the bride and groom by both sides of the family. I personally liked the event where the bride and groom are told to look at a mirror so that they can see each other as they are - two people in love.

Western traditions are also combined with the tradition as you can see from the cake cutting. Their cake looked and tasted divine.
