MS Bike Tour Stopover Location (Day 1) - 6.13.09 - Chestertown, MD

There were a few points for the bikers to rest during their ride and the most popular and also my favorite spot was Betterton Beach. The name says it all. It was such a nice location to rest and take in the tranquil nature that water can bring.

To keep things lively, patrons dressed as pirates and helped out the food preparation. Food was free...and delicious! Even though I wasn't burning as many calories as those riders I'm shooting, there was still quite a bit of a work out in trying to fine the riders along the route. I even placed myself laying in the middle of the road waiting for some to ride by me. Although I scared most people because they thought that I was a dead body, I was also able to get some exciting biking shots.
